Joining with Empathy

Joining with Empathy is dedicated to offering a warm, empathetic, hand-holding approach to adults who are seeking counseling support for issues such anxiety, depresion, life transitions, trauma, etc. Our team of therapists have a range of specializations including trauma-informed care, cognitive behavioral therapy, and LGBTQIA+ affirming practices. Our clinicians are in-network with several major health plans, including Cigna, CareFirst BlueCross BlueShield, United Health Care, and Hopkins USFHP and EHP. Joining with Empathy was founded by Jennifer Posner, a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW-C) who graduated from the University of Maryland's School of Social Work in 2011.
