The Towsontown Spring Festival started 53 years ago as the Towsontown Art Exhibit. It was held in the Baltimore County Courtyard and in 1968 it joined the Bicentennial Celebration.
Today with the help of 100’s of volunteers, sponsors and many Baltimore County Agencies, the Towsontown Spring Festival has turned into the largest outdoor festival in Maryland and one of the largest on the east coast. Approximately 200,000 visitors attend the two day event with more than 300 vendors to satisfy the appetites of our patrons.
The festival features three entertainment stages with over 40 acts and numerous national attractions. Opening ceremonies are held at the corner of Washington and Pennsylvania Avenues at 12:00 pm Saturday, May 2nd. Prior to opening ceremonies there will be Bag Pipers, Color Guard & the Chief Musician from the Department of the Navy to sing the National Anthem.
Bring your family and friends to enjoy all our wonderful summertime foods, unique vendors and the variety of entertainment!
