We’d like to invite all of our Towson neighbors to join the American Cancer Society in the fight against cancer. We’re bringing the fight to Towson with the Outrun Cancer 5K/1 Miler and Festival.
Join us on August 5th at 9am at Goucher College as walkers, runners, and volunteers come together to honor cancer survivors, raise awareness about reducing cancer risk, and raise money to help the American Cancer Society.
5K runners can expect a scenic course around Goucher campus and part of the Towson area, suited to experienced runners and those brand new to 5Ks alike.
1 mile walkers can expect a fun, casual stroll at any pace, while being cheered on by family, friends, and neighbors.
And all festival attendees can expect good food, good music, raffle prizes from area businesses, and a great atmosphere as we unite as a community in support of the American Cancer Society and its vision of a world without cancer.
Your participation allows the American Cancer Society to help people facing cancer today and find cures to end the disease tomorrow. Through sponsorship, and the fundraising efforts of our participants, we will finish the fight against cancer!
