We are pleased to announce the 29th Annual Towson Farmers Market season is around the corner.  Located on Allegheny Ave. (between York Rd. and Washington Avenue). The market is scheduled every Thursday, beginning June until November 2008, between the hours of 11:00am to 3:00pm. We have the support and enthusiasm of the county, local businesses and residents.  Our market brings top quality produce at affordable prices directly from the grower to the consumer.  We are looking forward to fresh fruits, wonderful vegetables, and beautiful fresh cut flowers. Café Troia, Souris’, Strapazza, Ridgely and Ferrens, along with other fine restaurants will be serving summertime specialties and will be providing outdoor seating. Be sure to take some extra time to browse through in the fine shops also located on Allegheny.

The Towson Chamber will be sponsoring an additional Farmers Market to accomodate community interest in adding market Saturdays.  Our Thursday Markets will continue as in the past, starting June 12th from 11-3 on Allegheny Avenue.  Our Saturday Market will begin June 14th from 9-1pm located on the surface parking lot on the corner of Wahington and Allegheny Avenue. 

Join us Saturdays to shop for your fruits, vegetables and breads and please don't forget to visist one of our lovely shops and restaurants!
